Newborn
Soft, unposed portraits of the first days home.
The first two weeks of your baby's life pass in a blur of soft blankets, midnight feedings, and tiny yawns — and they're gone before you know it. I photograph newborn sessions in the comfort of your own home across New York City, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, so your baby can stay in a familiar, unhurried environment. These sessions are gentle and unposed by design. Rather than elaborate setups, I focus on soft natural light, simple wraps, and the small details — tiny fingers, eyelashes, the curve of a newborn yawn — that you'll want to remember. We move at your baby's pace, with plenty of time built in for feeding and soothing breaks. I recommend scheduling within the first one to two weeks, while babies are still sleepy and curl into those newborn poses naturally, though I'm always happy to photograph babies a little older too. Safety guides every part of the session — I never pose in ways that compromise your baby's comfort or safety, and parents are always within arm's reach. If you're expecting and want to lock in a newborn session before your due date, reach out and we'll pencil in a flexible window around your due date.

Frequently asked questions
How soon after birth should we book the newborn session?
Ideally within the first one to two weeks, while your baby is still sleepy and curls naturally into those classic newborn poses. Sessions are booked around your due date and confirmed once baby arrives.
Do you photograph newborns in-studio or at home?
In-home, in most cases — it keeps your baby in a familiar environment and means less packing for you. We bring wraps, blankets, and props with us.
What if my baby needs a feeding or diaper break mid-session?
That's completely normal and built into the time we schedule. We follow your baby's cues, not the clock.
