The beginning of your story, before the big day.
Engagement sessions are one of my favorite ways to get to know a couple before their wedding day. I photograph engagements across New York City, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, wherever your story started or wherever you feel most like yourselves — a city street at golden hour, a favorite hiking trail, or the restaurant where you had your first date. These sessions are relaxed by design. We'll spend time walking, talking, and just being together, and I'll capture the moments in between the poses — the laugh after a joke, the quiet look before a kiss. It's also a great low-pressure chance to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day, if that's on the horizon. Engagement photos are as much about the two of you as they are about the images themselves — a chance to slow down in the middle of wedding planning and just enjoy each other. Whatever season you're in, I'll help you find a time and place that feels true to your relationship.
