Hi, I'm Anna — the photographer behind Anna Rae Photography. I specialize in maternity, newborn, family, and engagement sessions across New York City and the surrounding PA, NJ, and NY area. My approach is relaxed and unhurried: I'm less interested in stiff, perfect poses than in the real moments that happen when you stop worrying about the camera.

How it started
What started as photographing friends and family through their own pregnancies and new babies grew into something I couldn't imagine doing anything else with. There's something special about being trusted with these once-in-a-lifetime moments — the nervous excitement of a first pregnancy, the quiet chaos of a new baby's first days home, the everyday joy of a family that's grown into itself. I started this business to make that kind of documentation feel accessible, warm, and true to who you actually are — never stiff, never generic.
